Osamu Dazai

Fan polls for Bungo Stray Dogs have repeatedly put Osamu Dazai and Chuya Nakahara in a class of their own, and a large slice of the secondhand market treats the two as a pair rather than as separate characters.

About this collection

The Top-Two Pairing

Buttons and clear files built around Dazai and Chuya's rivalry, including dedicated "VS" sets, are among the most consistently available pieces, reflecting a fandom that has voted the two into the top two spots of Japanese popularity polls together. Collectors following that pairing can move straight to the Character: Chuya Nakahara collection.

Solo Pieces and Campaign Exclusives

Solo Dazai material spans campaign-tied clear files, including regional tie-ins, cafe and menu-order coasters, and preorder buttons issued around merchandise like his signature cup and saucer. Beyond his own catalog, Shop Bungo Stray Dogs groups the series' wider clear file, badge, and figure lines together for anyone assembling a full Armed Detective Agency set.

Magazine and Retailer Bonuses

Dazai also turns up in reader-bonus formats separate from the main merchandise lines, including a button given to all applicants of a PASH! magazine issue and a Kadokawa Store preorder piece bundled with his cup-and-saucer set. Bonuses like these were typically tied to a single purchase or entry rather than sold on their own, so completeness and condition tend to vary more than with standard clear file releases.
