Collection: Curated Sets

A curated set gathers several pieces of one character, picked by hand in Japan and sold together as a single item. Nothing here claims to be a complete run of a series or a full prize lineup; each set is a selection, chosen so the pieces sit well together on a shelf. Every piece is official licensed merchandise from Japan, and a condition grade is stated on every product page.

How a set is put together

We start from one character and one kind of goods, then choose the pieces that read as a group: acrylic stands with acrylic stands, rubber straps with rubber straps. The price is the sum of the pieces, so a set never hides a markup on the individual items. Sets are built from pre-owned stock that we source piece by piece in Japan, which is why the line-up changes rather than repeats.

Condition grading

Each piece in a set carries its own condition grade, and the grade shown for the set as a whole is the lowest grade among the pieces it contains, so the figure on the page is never flattering. The individual pieces remain listed on their own product pages, where the same grade and the same photographs apply. Images are representative of the item described.
